sack of dirt, sack of sand, sack of flour, sack of grain.
They would hold things by volume instead of slots, the same way as buckets hold water/wine/wort. The quality is averaged out for all things put in sacks. can't be mixing dirt with grain or flour.
blahblahwhyaverageseedqualityblahblah <= i don't care, you try picking out individual seeds out of a sack of grain.

Re: Sacks
There are like 100 suggestions on containers for seeds already. Its quite useless to add more. They said they will rework the whole inventory system so its not limited to slots anymore, until that there wont be any change, so just wait

Re: Sacks
This is like my dowel rod suggestion and I think it's excellent. Regardless if it's averaged I think the UI should be a build window without a build button for simplicity of interface and reusing and already existant excellently functioning UI.
Obviously you should automatically craft flour directly into and out of the bag. DO it right or don't even bother.
I like this idea.

Re: Sacks
I seriously doubt that. Loftar has stated before that the cumbersomeness of certain items is a part of the game's design.warrri wrote:They said they will rework the whole inventory system so its not limited to slots anymore

Re: Sacks
Either this should not apply to seeds or seeds lose their value as a 'seed' by being used in this or else the functionality (or at least, intended functionality of seedbags are lost). As such they could beused of rplanting grass or filling troughs and that's it.
Also, Seems to me other powders would be applicable to fit into this. Ash & grist come to mind off the top of my head.

Do you really think they'll add item stacking?Jackard wrote: no accounting for taste

just because the devs have made some poor gameplay decisions in the past doesnt mean they'll keep making them!Chakravanti wrote:Do you really think they'll add item stacking?Jackard wrote:no accounting for taste
any way you look at it, containers are awkward and tedious when compared to stacking. this is the exact same thread you made

Like you said, They don't have to be akward and tedious just because they fucked up all the previous ones. Given a high level of automated moving they can almost as convenient as stacking.
Also, as their response in other threads show, it doesn't look like they have any intent to correct the massive imba they've created.

Are you clinically retarded, or are those just noises you make for giggles? We have every intention of fixing the LP system, the power curve, the fighting system, and the claims, and I have stated this in more than one thread, just recently I did so in a thread you responded to.Chakravanti wrote:Like you said, They don't have to be akward and tedious just because they fucked up all the previous ones. In addition to that, you bring up the general problems of starting location and power-curve failure. We are aware of both and are considering solutions.

The problem isn't that the game isn't "balanced" it's worse than that. The problem is that several mechanics are fundamentally flawed and need to be redesigned. This is not shit we do overnight (well, actually it is, but we don't work every night), and you will just have to sit your little ass down and wait patiently until we get around to fixing it, which we will do in our own god damned time. When we do fix it I want to hear "Thank you, fantastic dev team!" or "This is good, but this could improve" -- not "Boo-fucking-hoo jorb is mean and doesn't give a shit, and besides he never did anything for Xanadu anyway. That mean man spirited me away with sweet words only to break my heart, and now I spend my life crying on forums about it." If this does not suit you then go play SUCKmydick or whatever the fuck it is you are pining for. I am utterly tired of reading your inane posts on subjects you display a clear lack of understanding of.
Also, sometimes you make good suggestions. Lutfisk, see there's a good -- and fairly original -- idea right there. I, you see, try to avoid letting my personal antipathies cloud my judgment. I suggest you try that.

Re: Sacks
Well thank you for finally responding to and directly addressing the matters I've presented. You might have avoided insulting my intelligence but then, I might have as well, so we're more or less even.
And When good shit does come I do give the appropriate gratitude as I have done for the very awesome recent kin fixes. Not for the hearth secret update but I should say excellent work there.
For the record, I am not threatening to leave as potjeh so vulgarly insinuated. I recently discovered SBEmu project and have, yes, have nostalgicly pined for the epic wars I was once a part of. I miss the ability to fight my enemies. And when it goes live I will be rejoining with my old clan but that actually has absolutely nothing to do with the state of development of H&H.
To be fair some of your posts were equally inanely dodging the issues I presented and probably because you believed I thought you lacking in intelligence enough to address these very issues. I won't say I didn't have my doubts or that some of your (and loftar's) posts led me to believe you think excessive character development margin to balanced somehow.
For, directly or indirectly, insulting your intelligence I do apologize. It was a bit over the top of me and as you say, influenced by our personal history.
And you might be shitty with me for selling out Xanadu but as I said elsewhere what I did was to protect my people, not necessarily myself, over a series of events that I won't deny attributing a good amount of blame to you for, despite that fact there you are probably not nearly as responsible as I hold against you, for the actual events that led to the threat against Innsmouth.
