Just look at Salem, one of it's biggest problems is hardcap on quality of everything, most people quit right after they build everything there is to build.

I am not advocating to hardcap Q of tools and materials.

Crafting would sort of look at % of your attributes. If you have a lot of attributes it would be allow quality to rise . and if you have low attributes the quality would drop. No Caps in any way. The game would see that you put a lot of effort in keeping Dexterity high, so Sewing quality would rise .

Thats' a good point. But my post looked at how we can minimize grind and Stats increase grind.

I would imagine if you (a farmer) and a raider get into a fight you both have similar attributes then you still can run away maybe, i don't know.

It would still be a permadeath. And if we make Forts less strong, it would even increase the permadeath- to perma-lose-everything.

Just a side-note on all these combat claims, IF u have skills and know how to fight u really only need 1/4th of the guy you are fightings attack to be able to survive. IF u have a friend with you two ppl actully CAN take down ppl with higher stats, if they (the high staters) DO NOT know how to fight.

The thing is the guys who has titans also PLAYS ALOT and most often knows how to fight, they're skilled at the game. Ofc some exeptions have excisted with ppl wanting to pvp after buying chars or botting etc., most however both play alot and bot (high tier players). So the whole argument that skill should be more important is more or less moot, that's what i wanna get at i guess :P

Also one f the things i personally love bout haven is the no-cap thing, because im an HnH addict and caps would mean i could actually be "done" with the game. That beeing said i strongly agree on the "all eggs in one basket" way of thinking tho. Oh how glorious to just not kill the opponents fighter but to actually put him all the way back to noob-stage by simply killing him! :D

Plant giant forests and wall them off from outsiders. It's just as easy as a deforesting bot. Sure, the world will be hideous but they can suffer outside for their actions.

Inb4 people are going to demand a world reset once they are done locusting the world (which ironically makes their effort pointless).
