personally i enjoy some raw ants every once in a while, as they are quite refreshing on long forest walks, and there are plenty people into non-standard foodstuff that enjoy 'em roasted.

loftar's a code monkey, so sleep is a forign concept to him. jorb's the one who sleeps (because he's the artist), but he has to get up regulary to poke loftar; leaving programmers alone for more than 3 - 4 hours without a good poke can be extremely hazardous.

Ants should be cooked for 3 minutes to neutralize their acid. After that, they can be mashed into a whitish paste and used as a binding agent in various foods.
They are, like most insects, highly nutricious.
