Hello, everyone.
This is a new player who would love to play this game, ASAP.
Before I start, I would like to mention that I indeed have searched this topic.
While I do understand how to fix this issue in Java 7, it seems like Java 8 is on different case.
The only option I can think of at this point is reverting my java back to 7, which would cause some of my other games to not run.
I wonder if there is any better solution than this.
Please, and thank you.

Re: The "common" blocked problem by Java (but this time, 8)
i guess you're on Windows OS ?!?
AFAIK this goes for Java 8 too

I had running HnH 64 Bit custom clients on Java 8 - 64 Bit with Windows 7 Pro without problems
you can have Java 7 and Java 8 installed at the same time (they go in different folders jre7 or jre8)- for HnH custom clients you only need to point to the right path in run.bat
for other games you might activate the proper Java version in Java Control Panel
or set variables in Windows environment
Not sure about Windows 8 / 8.1 (i refuse to buy it) but there's a faq
