how can i survive in a island without food

hello,

i spawned in an island which has no food resources.

- there are no chickens, rabbits or rats.
- i made a fishing pole but i cant find any fishing spots, i walked around the whole island but couldnt find any spot.
- there are no trees which gives apple, hazelnut etc.

i need food to make my rowboat to get out of the island but i cant find any food, i tried everything... i tried to swim, i drowned..

what should i do to find food? or how can i get out of the island please help.

Rabbits should spawn pretty much everywhere. Also with only like 3 exploration you can find taproots and blueberries to eat. You find them enough to keep your hunger stable until you find a rabbit or anything.

If this is a small island then it sounds like you spawned in a pretty bad place. If it is big then walk along the shore until you find fish jumping in the water or a boat on the shore. You can only catch fish where they are jumping.

How large is the island?

Eat taproot, berries, chantrelles, and from anthills. If you're by water just lure the swarms to the water, wait for them to get confused at the water and wander, then walk back and finish raiding the anthill. Everything in an anthill is edible, although soldiers and queens/empresses you'll want to study.

It will take even more experienced players longer to get started on an island with no resources.

Swim across with Q10 water and a flask or waterskin. Just make sure to open flower menu before you start swimming and click to drink after 3-4 tiles after you have started to swim. Of course cross the narrow part of the river naturally.

Alright Im not sure where you are on discovery but if you have not dig soil to discover soil and earthworms, pick seed or cones from each tree type, pick bark, if their is fruit take it, also collect branhes, and boughs. Go to the river and dig int he shallow area to hopefully discover clay. If you are in a broadleaf area make a kuska and collect water for that discovery. if you have a stone collect stone make an axe.... All these discoveries and help you learn new skiills to move. You can try and suffer it out and wait till able to learn boat building or you can swim as Xcom mentioned. Be aware if you do not have a waterskin you will likely drown.

Or you can simply make a new character and spawn elsewhere and leave that one sit.
