Perhaps a better one would be the diff between a Louisville Slugger and a Rawlings as opposed to a stick and a bat? You have any idea the annual sales of classic vid games ranging from Atari to Sega Genesis. Beauty, and fun, is in the eye of the beholder. We'll just have to see what actual changes are made between classic and Hafen before trying to critique their places In a comparison Analogy. 8-)
Haven looks ugly, lets not beat around the bush on that. The graphics hurt/burn/sear my eyes, and loftar said the code is messy, making it harder to change things.
Again, that's you. I think and always have that haven looks cute in it's simplicity. Sure it could be polished but the game itself is so good that it's near irrelevant. Of course I have fantasized the graphics were right out of Heroes of Might and Magic 3, or even as polished as that little village building game Banished (As far as the plant/buildings ect go. But that's all texture type polish. Haven is not ugly at all. Yes the code has been a bit hard to work with over the years as they have said often. But again, it's the classic core that makes this game what it is. And all the pretty graphics or updated whatever wont matter if that foundational core changed TOO much (Again, Salem). Hence my saying, that if it is, I hoped they would keep, or let someone else keep (or even pay for) a classic server going.

Notice who the 3 are who said this....what's the saying, "He who smelled it dealt it". They tell on no one but themselves.

Well well well there you go very wrong - my stance on using bots myself is widely known :P

(and guess which of us 3 are active playing)

Nini i guess it's more like 20 - 30 % minimum ( say an average of 300 players - 10% would be just 30 )

Oh please borka, I was obviously joking, in all seriousness it's probably 50% even.
