This may sound a bit odd, but I can't find the H&H directory. Also here's my specs:

Processer: Intel Core i3 CPU M330 @ 2.13Ghz
3 GB RAM
Windows 8
32-bit OS

There's not a "real" HnH directory with default client but a Cache one in your Users directory (.haven) - probably it's hidden (which is default setting on windows)

check these Tutorials for help and understanding your OS please
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/zxue/archive/20 ... rives.aspx

or look at "Show Hidden Files and Folders in Windows 8"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2gynTX09ZA

But before you: do look here - make settings and try again first

That is quite weird. I can't really imagine that there would be anything wrong with the server side SSL, as noone else appears to have this problem, so I can't help but think that your Java installation is corrupted or something. Try installing the latest version, or reinstalling (and redownloading) it if you already had it.

I'm having the same problem, all's it's doing is opening a blank window, I redownloaded it and this time it's playing music (and giving me that error message). I'm doing it on mac fyi not sure if the PC matters though.

Are you absolutely sure it's the exact same error message? Does it say "Caused by: javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Unrecognized SSL message, plaintext connection?"?
