removing lembas when combat is reworked

The number of combat equivalent characters that would be willing to fight someone who has hoarded lembas over the time is also finite and in much less quantity than the lembas one could and probably has gathered with nefarious plans for the future.

So your solution is to go 2v1 or 3v1 on the guy. Thats all nice and dandy if your the one attacking him. however iam assuming if he is carring lembas, he is the one intending to do the attacking.

I think you misunderstood me. I am for removing lembas. I was just saying exactly what you said; the ones with lembas are likely to be on the offensive and the people that can stop them are never enough to remove the lembas naturally like sabinati thinks it will happen especially since after a few fights none in his right mind would ever stand up to the fellow.

I too have not used any, and hoarded lembas.. I agree with him.. Lembas should be removed entirely. and replaced by balms, ointments, or potions that have little to no use in a fight, but allow for fast recovery outside of it. Not immediate.

I think the purpose of the lembas was to offset the bloodbath planned as players emerged into the new world. It never materialized so perhaps the lembas were unnecessary and yes, they could be removed.

That is not true. THe purpose of the lembas was a gift for players who have been playing since a certain time. A token Compensation for their losses over the map reset. Similar to the druids cloak.

I'd argue we put them there because a lot of players would have hit the new maps hurt, helpless and afraid otherwise. Either way, I kinda like the back-market for ancient artifacts aspect of it, but yeah, don't expect to see them on the next map.
