[HowTo] No run.bat when Ender fresh install with updater.jar

for both of these it still told me that it couldnt find the path

if it doesn't work try with

java path is for 32 Bit Java on 64 Bit OS


javaws.exe you'll need to start .jnlp files - Ender client has nothing to do with .jnlp files - thus java.exe or javaw.exe to start haven.jar which is downloaded besides other needed files by updater.jar

Should I try and run it regularly in windows 7 compatibinity mode?

look into Program Files and Program Files (x86) folders for a Java folder (or perform a search for java.exe) to get the path

just try to run updater.jar (without using a bat file) in W7 compatibility mode

Ender's client launched without needing the "-r" at the end.
