4 branches and few boards to build one and 1 stone as ammo.
retarded idea is retarded
i guess u cant catch the AoE reference.. +1 to shubla, also we need universities
You are a militia not a paladin.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

People are sneaky though. If they want to ram a place bad enough, they can make a palisade far from the wall, so they can't ram check it. Then build the palisade up to the wall, make a ram and encircle it with palisade.
this is fine, until it comes to the point where it's time to siege one of the many, many island vaults in w7 and you can't use a longwall or a ram bubble.
like i said, walls OP, we need brick bashing to come back

Regarding island vaults, I think that rams on rafts idea that popped up a while ago was in principle good, but it was just terrible to implement mid-world.

Only if once the ram was unloaded it had to be repaired, otherwise it would be unstoppable. Even a 8 hour repair is terrifying, because you could do it when you know for sure the person you are ramming is sleeping.

loftar isn't interested in bandaid solutions. Making rams on rafts will just hurt other aspects of the game, like settling near a river.

I'm down.
Can it be something cooler than fireballs?
Like, dreams?
