Yesterday i just joined a new village and, when i tought i could finally start playing seriously, another shit happened.
Last time i've been able to log in was yesterday at 23:00 and everything worked fine.
Today i tried logging in, and it took much more time than usual. Then a red message appeared "Could not connect to server" I tried many times, restarted the computer, but i still get that message.
I got to say, my computer is a shitty XP and java seems to be leaving it or whatever, but the problem is that i just cant log in.
im using enders client.

The server may have been down, also, I get this sometimes when my bandwidth is being stupid and my speeds are low.

Re: "Could not connect to server"
Sounds like some kind of firewall/router issue.

Still not working. Java is set to security "high". dont know how to do things with firewall, halp.
I got to say, it worked fine before yesterday. It always started and i had no problems.

Re: "Could not connect to server"
Lower your java security to medium or low, also if you are using a custom client you may need to use a custom path finding for it, unless you make a shortcut to the downloaded folder. (Which is 100 times easier).alemio wrote:Still not working. Java is set to security "high". dont know how to do things with firewall, halp.

Re: "Could not connect to server"
Lowering the security is crap
Make sure you have both http and https in your Java Security exceptions
check your router settings - you might try with port forwarding - needed Ports: 1870 UPD and 1871 TCP
What Antivirus program are you using?

Isn't avast a antivirus program that does the opposite of what it should do?alemio wrote:Holy shiet im using avast. I'll try shutting it off for a while later and see if it works.borka wrote:Lowering the security is crap

I think I had a problem with that program once.
