Client crashes when equipping backpack

Post by mattresses »

Equipping, or travelling near someone with an equipped backpack causes the client to crash for me with the following error:

Your computer's system time is set incorrectly, so the certificate check fails. According to the error reports, your system time is set to the year 2000. If you just fix that, it should work properly.

(I actually left a parchment in an urn next to your Hearth Fire a while ago telling you this; I guess you must have missed it.)

Ah! Thanks, loftar. This computer's CMOS battery is dead, I keep forgetting to reset the time.

I recommend you find a battery replacement ASAP. It's quite important you keep that CMOS battery in there.
