Game Client modified by Ender

the problem is that i dont need it to center-at-my-point, im making a large map of an area near me, so sometimes i have to PrtScrn with me-at-the-edge-of-picture

Gah I give up, I've tried everything I can think of to make this work, and I can't play the original launcher because it's way too small on my screen. Although oddly, this works perfectly fine in Linux... hmm.

Did you solve the problem with running it on Win 7 ?

thread for custom clients like Ender on Linux (post here when further problems - give info -> i.e. Distri):

in short:
You create a folder named Ender
You download updater.jar - drop it in created Ender folder and run it
that way you'll get all files needed downloaded into
you can start by running updater.jar again or create a run.sh to start client via terminal

disconnects after moving map-picture are still there. i have it on 3 different PCs. the delay is pretty random (like 1sec-3mins)

Prolly Ender won't look into this problem ...

I'd suggest using external tools to create your own maps - some you find here:

i personally use soos mapmerger and Tav zoom-able local maps creator in combination with browser screenshot and Irfan View mainly

Could you perhaps help me: running the updater brings up the window, but never goes past the Starting client... message. What am i doing wrong?

what OS what Bit version ? What Java version what Bit ?

Java version 8 update 40 build 1.8.0_40-b26 not sure about where to look at the bits though

create a run.bat with Notepad:

(you might check if the java path is right! - then it's 64 Bit - you also can look at Ender folder if there are files with amd64 in name))

doubleclick to start Ender client - the pause argument let's the cmd window stay open to look for error messages

EDIT, SOLVED COMPLETELY: the updater.jar not downloading files: apparently You cant have any ÄÖÜ characters in the path where the file is located. I Made a simple HAVEN dir on desktop, moved the updater there. Now files are downloading, but dir remains empty after it finishes (only updater.jar is present). I have no idea where the files dissapear

EDIT 2: changed java.exe properties to "run as administrator". Now files appeared.

Bat file not working but not needed - haven.jar is working
