Had a heart attack??

I was sitting in my log cabin when I walked away from the comp to use the bathroom. When I came back, I was logged out and my character was not available. Made a new character, inherited my LP, check back in the cabin and there's my corpse, still spraying blood from a fresh death. There were no animals in the cabin, no scents left, and all my possessions were untouched. So it wasn't an animal kill, and doesn't seem to be a murder, so wtf? How did I randomly die?

Check the durability of your armor/gears. If the number was lowered than the last time you remember it, then you were killed by someone.
Did you have a wall? If so, is there is a hole somewhere?

Other possibilities I can think of is starvation.

lol turns out a crazy russian was camping my cabin and has been slaughtering me every time i make a new character. guess im done with this game til Hafen comes out
