Crickets here, crackheads and murderers where you are. I'll take here. And Amanda: I've run groups on Skype for haven for like 5 years now and never had any of the problems you mentioned..... Arguably one of the most successful groups in Haven, Ainran use it to great effect.

No, I wouldn't be tacking on smileys if I were bitter; the forums have always been like this, and in fact I quite enjoy it. It's just a fact of life that I have come to accept due to Haven being intrinsically fairly controversial in various ways, and I'm also very well aware that the discontent will always be more vocal. I just wouldn't be looking for any state of Utopia to descend upon Haven.

H&H was OK, H&H2 will be OK after a bit of tuning, its just the first state of H&H2 that will perhaps be a little rough.

If hafen is gonna get anywhere same users as haven, voice chat will be abused. Sinewaves or some very disturbing loud sounds, only to annoy people.

I'd be more worried about these things than about bandwidth or technical issues, indeed.

This - besides a restricted frequency band - no need for lower than 200Hz and higher than 4k ... and a filter for constant tones like sinewaves

Will there be shooting through walls at launch? it's tiring watching for snipers when you are farming, or being forced to go indoors when idle/tabbing

how solid is the release date? and I'm assuming its going to be a new world.
