I'm having kind of the same problem as well, I'm new to the game by the way, but when I log out and close ender's version I don't know how to relogin to the mod. It instead gives me the normal H&H screen. If it helps I have windows 8.1. Thanks!

you need to create a run.bat to start Ender and link that to your desktop - look at Ender thread for examples
