It only "spammed" the channel because people would spam it.

Instead of just instantly banning people, try asking them to stop what you're having a problem with. You guys clearly do not know how to run an IRC channel.

No bans are permabans in IRC, you could have asked to be unbanned and you would have been so after making sure your spam was turned off
You made a bot response to a super common event, this is the definition of spam
Just like in real life, not every crime gets a warning and then an arrest, some acts just get instantly banned. For example, a spamming bot.

In other words, boo fucking hoo, cry some more about how you did a stupid thing and got punished for it

How was I supposed to ask anyone to unban me when I can't get into the IRC?
I didn't know your forum name. Nor is there any way about appealing a ban on the forums for the IRC.

Also the bot only responded to commands. Which are NOT COMMON EVENTS.
Clearly typing !slap or !pie is completely common and typing !help or !forum !congress

Totaly common events....
