Earlier it was "cannot connect to server". Game starts up fine, just like how the first game used to. The window pops up. But in nice, red letters underneath the login stuff it says "Authentication Token Expired". If I try to log in, it says that I am using an invalid username and password (although I know I am not.)
Running on Windows 7, with a graphics card that should meet requirements.

Bumping. I really need some insight with this. It has switched back to saying "Could not connect to server".

Well, server is definitely running. Back to "Authentication Token Expired" now. I have not played a single hour of HnH2 with my account, so I doubt it would be something to do with the whole game-time thing.

I had it when starting aswell but i put in account name and pw, pressed LogIn and got jumped right into game

OK, I was getting this Authentication Token Expired message as well, and then I tried logging into the game using the client provided on the website! It looks like that huge update to the graphics has happened! The game looks very different now, and I wonder if it's so different that the custom clients will no longer work with it? I also wonder if I've really lost all progress on my character, if I have to build everything back up from square one, and whether I really want to do that. I probably will. But wow, wish I could have kept my chickens.
