Development suggestion here: Please add one more product to the store that is "community supporter perk" it costs 10$ and it lets you post on community forum, without it you are on read-only. ![Trollface ¦]](./images/smilies/troll.gif)

It's about the way they did it , you can't make a massive change like this without telling anyone and think you'll get away with a simple " oups sorry LOL we forgot to tell you about it"
Charging almost the same amount than other big MMO is kinda absurd too and I understand ppl complaining about it
( I don't care much to be honest tho :p)
The current 100 playerbase of Haven 1 would have cried afoul before hand and made bad press. Just because that's the kind of vindictive assholes some of them are. Just like you will always find people like that in life.
If you don't mind paying then stop complaining sign up for a sub and have fun. Have you found a mountain yet? Wait til u do!
There you go again, making assumptions. No, it would have actually prompted a discussion to improve upon the system and to inform people ahead of time and in an official way, instead of this shitstorm. Not informing people before now was a mistake, plain and simple.

I hope you pay big dolla for game, and lose everything to someone who plays 12h per monthRagnar214 wrote:I'm buying a month sub tomorrow/today? and then the year sub on next pay I want this game to prosper! and flourish. Isn't that what everyone else wanted?Shadow7168 wrote:I'll probably be buying a month after my 48h is up. Let's just hope other people will play too.
$10 a month isn't all that bad anyways.
I think the ones who are butthurt are those who went around griefing/botting. Now with paid subscriptions + a verified account jorb and loftar can keep a better handle on that and the game balances itself when it comes to griefing and Player Killing. People will start to think twice about throwing their characters lives away for some hedonistic and killer mentality fun if there is money involved.
It's like poker.
Is it as fun without the money involved?

So many people saying something along the lines of "I would gladly pay a one time fee of 15-60(ish) dollars... but 10$ a month?! fuck that!"
But they fail to realize that 15$ gets you MONTH OF FUCKING GAME PLAY TIME. as in 30 days of constant playing, as in 720 fucking hours. how many 15$ one time purchase games have you bought that give you 720 hours of game play? probably not a damn one.

I imagine there is nothing we can do about that. Maybe the Mods for the forum have their phone number to text them? Lol

Re: Game Development: A Far Green Country
The point for me isn't my availability to pay or not, nor a matter of grateful or ungrateful with the devs. I truly believe that a large part of the players that were already fans of the game understand the meaning of this subscription model. But the problem isn't how much it cost or how much are we willing to pay.
The problem is that HnH was already an almost dead game, with a few hundred of players online, and my fear is that this is going to limit even more the amount of players in the game, damaging the whole concept of being in a massive multi player online game.
But all of this is just speaking of the players that were already into the game, we already know that the game is good, we already know that the game is worth paying it, but for new players this model is a disaster. I can't get my friends to accept such conditions and there's no sense on playing this game all alone.

The thing you don't understand is those assumptions are based on stuff that's happened before. People absolutely lose their shit over tiny changes in this game, heck - everyone hated the curio system when it came out, lots of people threatened to quit and stuff. There would still be this big discussion anyways, the only difference is that it'd of happened a few days earlier. I might not be solid on the subscription system, but I think it's going to do the game some good.Lettuce wrote:Ragnar214 wrote:Imagine if they had said something?waga wrote:It's not about paying , I already said it I'll gladly pay.
