Considering 98% of the forums thinks it is $15 and not $10, I'd like to think some people just saw "store" or "subscription" and bailed asap in nerdrage

Hows it pay 2 win? Its a subscription.. Like other Pay 2 Play MMO's.
You can't do anything against those who have sub. No one will want you in their village and you will be forever together with all the weak players because you are nothing comaired to 24h playing beast who paid. So yeah, you can say it's play 2 play or free 2 play but at the end, it's really pay 2 win.
