Can't connect

I installed the game, It runs until i put my user and password, and then it goes black. Just like that. What is happening?

There isn't one solid solution for this and some have never resolved it. Things to try: open ports TCP 1871 and UDP 1870 in any security software or firewall (including hardware routers/modems); temporarily disable security software to make sure it isn't interfering, and if it is, figure out how to open Java/Haven through the software; you might have a bad router or modem, so try connecting through a different network OR if you're on WiFi, try connecting via a network cable.

If none of these work, I don't have a suggestion off hand. I know other players have or are currently looking into this, but no word as to potential solutions yet.
