You don't need to dig sand. You can make glass out of soil directly

When im trying to craft Raw Glass it says: You need to be using a crucible.

Yeah, that is annoying that you get the recipe for glass without the recipe for the equipment needed to make it.

Buildings don't have discovery, I guess this was to avoid the need to own mining in order to make glass.
