Black screen to Login screen

Black screen to Login screen

basically when I press the login button after entering my credentials, it connects, shows a black screen for a couple minutes, and then reverts back to the login screen, I believe I have 64 bit Java version 8.0.510 according to control panel, although I do have windows 10
Is this the real life?
Or is it fantasy?
Caught in a landslide...
No escape from reality...
