Unable to connect to server

I just discovered this game, and I'm pretty eager to give it a go. Problem is - I can't connect to the server. Is there something wrong on my part? I'm trying to run the game through Google Chrome.

The server is down ATM. Will be back up when the devs wake up (they've been working on updates till 8AM today).
