Stealth update to palistades.... just screwed all newbies

Didn't really screw anyone since that's exactly the same cost as before and the methods of getting those materials hasn't really changed either.

It sucks, it's not "fair", but the 5 block pali post was way too cheap and very easy to use for griefing.

its the same as in old haven, how is it screwing over noobs just because you cant throw together a palisade wall like its a f-ing daisy chain or something, it was stupidly easy before now it makes more sense

Rope and boneglue are cheap as hell to make. 10 String and 10 Bones are not hard to get even for newbie hermit with a little exploration and nearby chickens or rabbits.

Maybe one or two groups have Vandalism but a claim and a picket fence are going to stop 99% of all players right now.

Fixing a problem before it becomes a HUGE problem is not an issue.

Trust me when I say the larger groups would not be set too far behind by also needing rope and bone glue. The resources to them are even less significant to that of hermits, and for hermits it's not too much anyways. The time you are spending angry could be time you can spend collecting resources and building your own.

you must not realize that most organized groups would ahve already had a palisade up by now, anyway. They just got it up for really freakin' cheap. If brick walls are in the game, the first ones will be up before the week is out if they aren't up already (took a week because of steel production). Is that fair or not fair?

i have an island which is why iam mad. You and the other people posting here likely are in a square box. My material costs are over 2000x what they were a day ago. i now will have to pray iam not raided and likely try to go straight to brick. if walls were reset i likely wouldn't be this mad, as that is how it was last world and other islanders would be reset as well . but some managed to wall themselves off before this update and now are over a month head of me.
