Stealth update to palistades.... just screwed all newbies

You're talking as if destroying the palis of these 'big groups' would change anything. They would be back again within the hour, easily. Being a hermit means you'll be behind any competent players that are working together, and that's just the way of life it is. You'll get your pali later, your claim won't be as big, you'll probably get shanked while foraging by a member of those big groups that've blasted out a sword in the first few days.

I'm living in a small settlement with 2 other friends, and we play part time/non-sock-pooper mode. If our pali was nuked now, I could have it up again as fast as I could ram all the mats into the signpost.

They fixed a bug, and we should appreciate that instead of complaining about how we can no longer exploit it.

Don't bother.. They are not changing it back, and they are not destroying the existing palisades..

You have to remember this is an Alpha, and forget this is paid / subscription game now. They will do everything as before, but ask you for your money if you wanna play more than 1 hour a day.

I guarantee you that he will not drag his lazy bones across the world and back to manually fix a tiny issue of no consequence.

Op is right. This is just unfair. Since the game was released my gf has died, so we lost a lot of time to reunite. Then we made a first base and someone break it because it wasnt claimed , then we made a second one with a claim and a palli, and some assholes broke the palli door and made a new wall. We could left because there was a cave, and now that we've finally settled down we must gather one million items to do the palli... ITs not fair.

It is not a big deal. If you think it is then you will most likely be massively disappointed down the road. We cannot keep worrying about retconning obscure gamestates to keep up with every ENTIRELY REASONABLE CHANGE we make. Sometimes you will be on the winning side of that.

I would advise less jealous coveting of your neighbor's cheap palisades. Thou shalt not, &c.
