Your game doesn`t work on my main computer with Mac OS 10.7.5 and new java. And after last update it became not working on my notebook with win 8 and fresh java too. Custom clients doesn`t works too.
So I had to take my very old notebook with win7 and playing on it with lags and very slowly...(
I like your game, I want to play in it with my friends... But you want 10$ in 1 month for very fresh product. Yes,with good idea and game play, but too fresh to be commercial. When I was playing in WOW I payed less moneys for a much better product. There was actual operating support . There was working game on all my computers and I was needn`t to kill few hours for trying to start the game...
So I think this price is very high for current condition of the game. It can be norm if you ll give a 740 hours with no limit of month for 7-10$ ... or 4-5$ in month...
But now its impossible price for any inconvenience which we have every day. I`m not a student and I can pay... if you will have the real commercial product.
I hope you will reed this and think about this.

In the real world usually find investors. Voluntary donations from grateful players also no one has canceled. Perhaps the introduction of extremely low pay of game time. But the price need not be comparable and above these commercial products. As an idea - to enter the paint items for $1 -$2 .. will fly like hotcakes, especially after the failure of the selection tree in building houses etc. Some more decorative items can help you. You have to be creative to obtaining money.
If price will be like now I think very soon you will have the 1/3 of gamers and not much moneys.
In any case, when you provide a commercial product your difficulties are only yours. And the consumer chooses already competitive product. I do not think Hafen is ready for fair competition in the market of computers games.

I don't think anyone is objecting you guys earning money with the game, it's just that a lot of us think there are better ways (for both sides, I believe) to earn money, without limiting gametime.

No... if it will be only cosmetic. I can have default color of house and can pay some money to have for example a red house if i want.
But I think the price for this cosmetics need to be very low.., but there must be a large assortment for $1-$2- $3 . Under this condition, it will work and bring more money than if you leave the fee for the game and people will not play in your game. Mere peoples more moneys from shop and donate.

Yes.. I agree.. Now in Russia it 670 rubbles. For example WOW price is 500 rubbles ( $7,5) .
And the differents of this products I wrote above.
