I don't understand it either. As someone who has always been a hermit, I have never expected to keep pace with a village. Being a hermit will always be more work and possibly a bigger risk than being in a village. But that's why some of us do it, we like the challenge. I get huge satisfaction out of being as self sufficient as I can be.venatorvenator wrote:I don't understand the point of this complaint. It seems to be suggesting that hermits and organized groups of players should have the same chances in the game. I don't think that's a fair expectation. It's not like their botting or something. Circumstances couldn't be any fairer at this point of the game.

Re: The Rippity Hermits Thread
There are benefits on both ends tbh. Larger villages typically have stronger fortifications and more advanced players. However, hermits have a much smaller ingame footprint, thus less of a target for raiders.

Re: The Rippity Hermits Thread
Do agree that the game is super hard for casual hermits now. However, for hardcore hermits it's just perfect atm. Minutes moving us all out of caves, that was just a low blow :<. Setting up a palisade is still easy, because hunting is still VERY easy and easily soloable if you really think of how animal AI works. Those bears and boars are dumb as bricks, abuse that :3
