Does anyone know if there's some sort of fail-safe implemented already to reset server when it's down or we need to rely on our Glorious Supreme Developers to not be asleep and bring our only and one real world back manually?

I think they have to do it manually..

There is no auto reset, the devs have to check what caused the crash and fix it manually. =)

Do they really fix it every time? If so that means we should, in theory have longer and longer periods between crashes, if we're lucky.
