Re: Mining help
Don't feel too bad Malke, I explored for probably 12 hours of mining time (with good str I might add) and only found a small deposit of tin. You are pretty good off with coal TBH

Re: Mining help
It is a huge barrier that my group is stuck at currently lol, the only thing holding us back currently. Is coal rare for other people because I have heard it is. It's everywhere here. I am confident I would never need to burn a tar kiln, at the least not for a while.kilakan wrote:Don't feel too bad Malke, I explored for probably 12 hours of mining time (with good str I might add) and only found a small deposit of tin. Re: Mining help
Quality of your tool does. the mining ability of the character is the geometric mean of your tool and your str--sqrt (STR * Tool Q). It also depends on where you are. Some places you can mine with 10 STR and a Q stone axe. Others on first level you need 100 STR and a good (q30-40+) axe. Going down levels just gets harder.Antaraner wrote:hwo much str do i need to mine in caves and does stone axe quality matter?
