Theres no first aid skill. Im pretty sure.

I'm assuming that sewing unlocks Stinging Poultice and Gauze. You also need to discover materials (stinging nettle and dried hide for poultice, wool for gauze.) You need cauldron for Poultice and Loom for gauze.

If i were to stab at it, I'd say sewing for Gauze, and Hunting just Will to Power for the stinging poultice. Should make an alt to check these things.
