Re: Where am i?
Oh, by the way- Novigrad is where I started! I now realise using that map I linked above!!! How cool, I can actually see my migration route! But, ironically, maybe it would be best to re-migrate back to Novigrad? Lol.

More to the point, are they active? I seem to recall Bandit Camp was one of the first names to land on the center grid map, and I never heard anything about them before or since. A LOT of the center grid is abandoned.malaki wrote:Oh are they hostile? If so im gonna run, and fast lol.
If it were me and I had a newish character I would skulk around looking for hearth fires and signs of recent maintenance. If I found neither I would assume it was available for salvage and as safe as anywhere.
The name Bandit means little. If I met a boy's pee-wee hockey team on the subway they might very well style themselves the Bandits and yet not be hostile. Ditto for Pirate. Seems to me that word is more seen as fun than menacing. Now if they were the Skullf*****s and the runestones all said, "Come here and die!" and they had a big heap of skeletons I would do a strategic retreat.
BUT... while I am not too scared on your behalf yet, I make no guarantees. If I see a guy wearing a helmet and a purple robe? I'm outa there as fast as I can hit the red x in the upper right corner.

Lol! Advice duely noted
I managed to travel to Novigrad and Bohgran (sp?) and I didn't meet anyone in those 2 establishments either...although there were many hearth fires, and everything looked in good condition. Those 2 establishments were VERY large- some 20+ houses, maybe much more. They also had multiple "sign posts" linking other establishments which I visited and again, found no sign of life!
Where are you guys based? Are you making out a living like me, in the middle of nowhere? And whats this "RoB" I keep hearing people refer to??

Re: Where am i?
Novigrad isn't a real village, I just made it as an alternate spawn point back when there was no wilderness spawning.
RoB refers to Ring of Brodgar, the one place where everyone can travel to. Be wary of going there, though, now and then certain people will camp there and kill everyone who ports in just for lulz.
