Would be nice way of raising soil quality in less fortunate corners of the world.

Also, make it so that we can dump our dead enemies in them. Ecological alternative to those who don't want to be shallow and waste space by leaving corpses behind as decoration (let us hang skeletons on walls and tar heads and put them on top of gates).

I'll just add that you can use earthworms as soil forthe purpose of rising terrain level. So when you dig and get a worm it's as if additional unit of soil was created in the world, thus averting the impending lack-of-soil apocalypse

the terrain also lowers when you dig it up so in these terms it's the same as soil.

I thought you get it additionally to soil, not instead of it. Am I wrong?

in Legacy Haven yes, in new Haven at this time it's instead of. it even counts down as soil in your survey counter.
