Mirkwood Offering... as awesome as I think it is?

Postby GenghisKhan44 » Mon Sep 14, 2015 4:22 am

I learned about mirkwood offerings today. And I think I am in love with this curiosity.

Cost is, it seems to me, excellent. 2 seeds, entrails, and a mirkwood block is very easy to come by (chickens are everywhere). Mental weight is 6, which isn't great, but they study insanely fast. I've studied three in, like, the past hour. And I get around 450 LP each time.

For me, that's brilliant. That's amazing. I love it and I want MOAR!

Anyone else feel this way, or am I nub?

You are much loved! Love in return!

It's supposed to be a stupid strong XP sink, don't hit 0 XP chain-studying them. I've heard stories of that.

At 50 XP/hit, and with 1915 XP, I think I'm good for now.

They're incredibly strong. My thought has generally been as long as you can keep yourself over 1000 XP, go absolutely batshit on them.

I get around 720lp for each on, at ql14 or so.

I'm pretty much addicted, though I never get below 1.5k xp

Nothing is "just as good" as the mighty mirkwood offering, but bat wings are indeed great curiosities.
