Butcher Station! Building idea

Postby bojackson » Wed Sep 16, 2015 12:53 am

Butcher station - increase butchering time, could have a few tiers maybe like a simple starter one needing boards and string (can only be used with small game like fox, badger possibly), increasing speed slightly. Then maybe a metal one with chains to hoist the animal up (I noticed jorb already has chains graphic done) and this would increase time even more.

Also maybe an option while using the butcher station to bypass the intestines/entrails and go just for the meat (cus we end up with so much of those)? I dunno just ideas.

Note: instead of time increase, maybe just a few extra pieces of meat?
Ohhh that's how I make a sig, cool

I'd like it to be possible/necessary to draw the blood from a carcass by hanging it up, and whatever.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Should limit carcass hanging to cellars only. You should do that stuff in cold dry places, right?
Adding a butcher's knife would be nice too.

Can't wait to get me some blood pudding!

In case it could be done in cellars only it should not be mandatory.
Being able to create a bone knife would be nice for the start to get some q in it, but that would be op late in the world with q500+ cows...

I suspect you can do it pretty much anywhere if you're field dressing the animal.

Swedish seem more appropriate to the setting.
