Re: Experience trigger bug?
Experiences are by nature unpredictable. I strongly doubt that there is a bug, but even if there were it would be hard to find. My best suggestion is to keep playing.

Re: Experience trigger bug?
Yes... i just try keep playing... seven days i am just play and wait... but all experience is gone... and i go write that post... how much i need to wait? month? year? infinity? >_<jorb wrote:Experiences are by nature unpredictable. If that not bug why all my five friends(we started in one day) and his alternate characters keep collect the experience points all time, everyday for the same actions, but i not get any experience for all possible actions? This game is based on race of the quality ... i cannot up my skills without experience points == i cannot take better quality stuff... how keep playing in this situation?
Sorry but i think "just keep playing" this bad suggestion, and very bad answer from developer game, you know how that system is working, i do not believe that it is too unpredictable for you.
Please at least try to understand why this happens and tell me what need a do to get experience points, because just keep playing - will not work.

Re: Experience trigger bug?
Try right-clicking a willow 50 times.
If you don't at least trigger the +500 experience from that, something is wrong.
Edit: you need to be close to it

Clicking it multiple times will not do anything.g1real wrote:Try right-clicking a willow 50 times.

Re: Experience trigger bug?
I obviously cannot give this kind of special attention to everyone who may have a problem. Simply reading the forums takes a shitload of time, and I have to be selective. The system is intentionally obscure, and understanding why something does or does not happen is not trivial, especially as it would need to be matched against what you are doing or not doing in game, something that we do not even attempt to track.Voal wrote:Sorry but i think "just keep playing" this bad suggestion, and very bad answer from developer game, you know how that system is working, i do not believe that it is too unpredictable for you.

Given how the system works right now it should not be possible for you to be permanently locked out of receiving experiences, hence "keep playing".
I'll try to investigate, but I am almost entirely certain that it won't lead to anything, and that it will simply cost general game development 10 minutes of time.

Re: Experience trigger bug?
The point is that however obscure the mechanic needs to be, I doubt it was intended for it to hinder people actually playing the game as opposed to bots. When half the progression of a character depends on gaining LP as efficiently / quickly as possible and some people are getting experiences by the droves while others get none, that makes for very unpleasant gameplay for the latter group. I think it'd be nice to triple check it when possible just so you don't end up with people unable to study anything due to no experience like people were forced to only log on to study with no gametime and options to sub.

Re: Experience trigger bug?
There's a big discussion on this in a couple of places, but some people just aren't willing to share what they're doing, time online, etc. It's hard to get a grasp on the system if nobody wants to share any information. (Problem is... we figure it out, someone figures out how to game it, bots are made, system gets changed.)
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

- stay under willows.
- burn some the fireplaces.
- walk on grass(and other biomes).
- lift different items.
- climb the ledges on the mountain and walk on mountain.
- go in caves(big amount caves on mountain).
- put hides in tanning tubes.
- walk in water(swiming in water too).
- drink water(biiiiiig amount of water).
- craft big amount of different items.
- dig big amount of earth on alignment.
You have test server, right? you can transfer all my account data and login under my account and try collect any xp at my character? or just log in under my account on normal server(character name: Voal) and try collect that dammit experience... if you success collect any experience - you system is working and just tell me what you do... otherwise it's a bug...
Yes, may be i ask too much you time, but that big problem for me, i play in H&H from 2010 year... and that first time when I ask developers about something ...

Re: Experience trigger bug?
There isn't much to check, I'm afraid. I brought your case up with loftar and the only explanation we have is bad luck.
