you put one barrel on hands, and then put it uptop of other barrel

so there will be 2-3 barrels on same grid

This might work. For easier storage of barrels but still somekind of one big separate tank is needed.

You clearly didnt undestand the point. If i live far away from water source and want to storage 10 000 L of water. What im gonna do? 100 barrels in row? No thanks.

Food and liquid spoilage would be cool too! For example, most food would stay good longer if stored in cellar.
Current idea of like making stockpile of fish outside and it still being there after months is not good.
They should rot
