Death by Deer/Drowning

So guys in all of the past worlds I have never been for swimming until late late game. This world came to be and I found you could swim many small even medium rivers with ease. So yesterday I got the attention of a deer very much on purpose then went to swim across river. Deer knocked me out while I was just getting into the water. So I sat here in my chair and watch my stamina bar slowly deplete and my hearthling die. Sad day. Still playing strong.

FEI: I know I have got to start taking more screen shots but I just never can remember to take one at critical times. I should just start recording.

dude that is exactly how I died early on too, it was even a deer as well.

All you people making a post about your noob drowning stories. Here i am still haunted by the the terrible memory of the time I swam for a floatsam, and drowned on the last fucking tile.

Last world I tried to swim a river. I get to the other side to with about 40% stamina remaining to discover that someone had set a claim on the last tile of the shallows. With criminal acts turned off I couldn't trespass, and while swimming I couldn't toggle criminal acts. I drowned trying to get back.

To top it off this was my first day playing after about a two month break.

last world i was being chased by 3 hooligans on boats, then two more of there buddies cut me on boats, so i dropped all my items and went for a swim
the only time i've ever drowned. but it was to spite them so they couldn't loot me or my skull

Bodies float now - so they can just pick you up after you drowned
