survival should make crafting firebrands easier

firemaking is one of the most basic survival skills. i mean homo erectus could do it. so why shouldn't it get easier with a higher survival value.

No matter how good you are at survival, a stick can only burn so long. Use a torch.

You can also use a burning fire to light the torch.

yes, but that goes out eventually and you'll need to relight it, again with a firebrand. it's just kind of silly that it doesn't get easier/faster when your survival gets higher.

Or there could be a bark container that let you carry an ember with you. Like the one Ötzi had.
