Also how did you guys find out about this bug if one one in the forums report it? Does the game itself reports bugs if so... never mind I thought what's the purpose of the bug section then, but still how would you guys find out about a certain bug if no one reports it?
They did get reports, but not public ones on the forums, just that.jorb wrote: Three minutes later I receive a very detailed report about the bug in question from a member (Headshot) of the village (Core) having found the bug and presently using it for raiding. The report was very detailed.
you seriously think one free month is a restitution for the players who love this game and already paying? of course its better than nothing at all, but cant you at least give them some curio to get back on feet, their char sheets should have their status recorded and not like you could gain stats after death. im sorry but i really dont understand what you find this generous. and im sorry im taking this out on you, but cant help it.loftar wrote:On the lines of restitution, it should generally be considered uncharacteristic of us to do any at all. Trying to reconstruct what things have looked like a few hours earlier is impossible to do with any accuracy anyway, and is always fraught with danger. It should preferably not even be seen as a precedent, but rather us just feeling slightly generous this time.
So did they make an actual crater? It certainly looks that way to me. Now that's some wrathful justice!Scruffy wrote:

There is no death refunds in permadeath game like haven, even if death was partially caused by a bug, this is still alpha (and quite early one). I can understand this position.Tonkyhonk wrote:you seriously think one free month is a restitution for the players who love this game and already paying? of course its better than nothing at all, but cant you at least give them some curio to get back on feet, their char sheets should have their status recorded and not like you could gain stats after death. im sorry but i really dont understand what you find this generous. and im sorry im taking this out on you, but cant help it.loftar wrote:On the lines of restitution, it should generally be considered uncharacteristic of us to do any at all. All well and good, but didn't I read in the locked "Core" thread that one person logging in was killed before he even got a chance to fight back? All dem skillz...Necroliter wrote:I say partially, cause the villagers was not armed and strong enough (or not organized) to defend themselves from raiders. alpha or not is never the point when they advertise this as "eternal alpha" anyways.Necroliter wrote:There is no death refunds in permadeath game like haven, even if death was partially caused by a bug, this is still alpha (and quite early one). I can understand this position.

None of us at Church had any idea about it when we got killed, Assumed you would be safe in your village free of wall jumps, but it goes to show how low some people are still capable of resorting to in this game.MagicManICT wrote:All well and good, but didn't I read in the locked "Core" thread that one person logging in was killed before he even got a chance to fight back?
