splittable/reusable fur

hello could there be an option too cut a big piece of fur 2x2 intoo little pices cause i have a hard time putting a whole horsehide
into one single stinging poultice and i think i better waite till i catch 4 rabbithides so i get 4 for the saime price.
an item like a "pice of fur" that is only usable for generic fur work but not for anything special could spare us a lot of regretfull dicisions here
