- resizeable/moveable minimap - I'm adding dragging to it. I don't like how it looks in separate window.

At least make it an option! I think with that this would be the perfect client for me! <3

Hi. I am using your client and like it more then others, but there one big problem: sometimes it generate different images for same tiles. This not problem for your map combiner, but all other tools cant automerge such tiles.
Here example sessions made by client ver 1.12.1
Take close look on gray "shadows" on this tiles
ImageImage
This tiles tile_-31_-28.png(session 2015-10-14_07.19.06) and tile_9_-25.png(session 2015-10-14_08.13.21). Fingerprints same for both , images not.

As far as i know this is an inherent part of how the minimap generation works in the client - that's why i added the fingerprint system.

The only way to avoid that (as far as i know) is not to use the global coordinates that are random for every session in the offset into individual textures, which gives consistent tile images but ugly "borders" between every tile - and i don't want to do that.

Added: It would look like this, which IMO is ugly as sin, though it does produce images that don't change between sessions :P

Well, i have to agree, the tile really look weird with the lightened corners. Added support for your Fingerprint files to my tool :)

Could you possibly add in more options from kt's client? Like the unlimited out-zoom is awesome because I can see everything that I am supposed to see. Also the sun/moon cycle on the top of the screen is nice, as well as the re sizable cupboards. Over all I think if you added these things this would be the go to client for anyone. Thanks! :D

Question about combainer: "Unable to draw map combined_x.png (44*103) - not enough memory" what it is?

Your map too big for default memory settings. Open combiner.bat and replace string

Code: Select all

java -jar combiner.jar %*
with

Code: Select all

java -Xms512m -Xmx1024m -jar combiner.jar %*
Try increasing digits with 512 steps.

I have 1000+ sessions with 22k+ tiles and combiner work only with this settings

Code: Select all

java -Xms2048m -Xmx3072m -jar combiner.jar --grid %*
