I guess the villages have been vulnerable to infiltration since the beginning of the game.
The fear of being infiltrated curbs recruitment of newbies which cause the newbies to get an additional disadvantage
besides being a newbie.
Despite this I think this is an inherent part of the game which should not be removed completely. If you are in a small group where everyone can trust eachother you alot stronger
than a bigger group in which there is one single traitor. That being said the system is exploitable and you can always create a new account if your reputation drops too low.
Maybe one account per device? I guess some people will get around that aswell.

Not only would limiting one account per device not stop all people, it would punish sinblings that share the same computer.dageir wrote:I guess the villages have been vulnerable to infiltration since the beginning of the game.

Every time people multi account in games they have several brothers sisters fathers mothers cats dogs hamsters parrots the works. Not that this is a solution but still.

But it is also a fact that there are the occasional sinblings sharing the same computer, it is not that uncommon, when I was a kid I had to share the computer with my brother for several years before my family could afford to buy another one.Avu wrote:Every time people multi account in games they have several brothers sisters fathers mothers cats dogs hamsters parrots the works. Besides, as it was previously stated, this measure would not stop all people, it is not that hard to work around it, but it would make it very difficult for the average case of sinblings sharing the same computer to work around it and play the game.

Yeah, but it's always a stupid suggestion, and I cringe every time I hear it. Having grown up with a twin brother and wanting to game, that had always been a frustrating requirement a decade or so (Banned from so many games just because we both wanted to play it). But now a days I know its absolutely a trivial matter to get around, and isn't worth suggesting.Avu wrote:Every time people multi account in games they have several brothers sisters fathers mothers cats dogs hamsters parrots the works. This too, even though it would be less of an issue.Seriador wrote:Yeah or even just when friends who play come around...

Thats exactly what i was trying to explain with the example of the policeman.ArvinJA wrote:There's nothing wrong with things being easier to destroy than to build, this is how it works in real life as well, and it is mostly combated through social mechanisms and some amount of force when required. If you're not up to the challenge of protecting the things you build properly, then this game isn't for you.
In real life things can be easily destroyed, yes, but there is also consecuencies. As it happened in the pic you show, and it has happened allways.
In the game, betrayal is extremely OP, and there is no real way to counter it or what its worse, taking revenge.
As Avui mentioned this can be probably solved reworking the siege system, structures HP etc...
Also this. Its a problem for any group with expectactions of growing.dageir wrote:I guess the villages have been vulnerable to infiltration since the beginning of the game.
