So you want to be able to mass murder and collect the bodies so you won't have to wait for them turning into skeletons on site of crime to get the skulls, or what is the use case?

The question is. Why can I put animal corpses in everything but not hearthling corpses.

I dont see why there's a reason it doesnt work like everything else.

My friend died while we were exploring and I wanted to bring his body to him. We do not live ttogether and so the journey wasn't over.... i was lucky to find a horse to mount and lift the body as I rode to him. Would make life better to have my dead friend in my boat like weekend at bernies to keep me company

I don't really see why bodies have to decay in order to extract a skull to be honest; but otherwise they should be storeable

Now that im thinking. It would be nice to fill a cart of dead people to leave at my neighbors gates because hes always digging up my lawn. Maybe he will get the message

Yep. Just behead that sucker and let it rot elsewhere. Maybe "bury" it so the earthworms will pick it clean faster.

well, if i get murdered, i would at least like to have a chance to retrieve my own skull. the murderer may want to leave sooner because of the debuff and may want to carry something else with him/her.

Skulls are more of a trophy to a killer than something they should have to game for. As it is now- unless you are some fresh alt or a raid hoes awry, there is little to no chance of you getting your skull. Nothing really wrong with that either
