Re: Amber Client
Pony power update is brilliant! I'm forever being thrown off as it always seems to run out when my attention is elsewhere, when Em and I travelled to Dani's I got thrown twice and went half the way there with 3/4 damage ... lol. Bit risky considering the number of boars and bears we ran into. So ... very happy with a warning now.

As I told you, there is no crash :

apend ramdomly, mosty when opening my palissade gate, even in mine when there are very few things to display.

Re: Amber Client
Weird. Any idea in which version it started to happen?
Could you also check please with the default client if the issue exists there.

Looks familiar. Can you try the workaround from this post?simimi wrote:As I told you, there is no crash:

So when you BSoD next time with "map data loading", open your equipment window (ctrl-e) and shift click equipment, which will unequip the gear to your inventory (do NOT ctrl-click, that drops to the ground!). It will look like nothing is happening (because the server is not sending the data back to you), but it is server side... you are actually unequiping. Unequip as much as you can, close the client and restart.

Re: Amber Client
It hapen also with the primitiv client, sorry for the trouble romovs.
Thanks for the link marvi, but it hapens when there is nothing new to load ( just opening palissade gate in mine with naked alt, very few objects arond), there are no new graphics to dispaly other than the open gate, and I got no "loading data" message either.

Re: Amber Client
Hmm perhaps something related to rendering pipeline then. Although I guess it wouldn't fail in this particular way way but who knows.
If you are on 64-bit OS and using 32-bit Java, try switching to 64-bit - http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/ ... 33155.html
There have been some funky driver issues when running 32-bit.

Re: Amber Client
Sounds like the early world bug that made the game data get stuck and the server fail to keep sending info. I thought loftar fixed I though but always possible for a similar case to have come up. Might want to ask loftar for what magical debugging thibgers to run to determine what's going on. Try a different internet connection or a free proxy/vpn pre-emptively and see if it maybe fixes it. Was also an issue mostly for some particular Russian isp I think.simimi wrote:It hapen also with the primitiv client, sorry for the trouble romovs.
