Got this trying to login.
Gonna try again. Not sure what this is.
Nope got it twice now. Happens when I click a character to actually get into the game.

Re: Haven error!
Trying to use an old resource. Just reload the client and try again. I got past it.

Re: Haven error!
Ah okay finally worked on my fifth try. Thanks Jorb.
You and loftar do good work! I read that source code page. Does this mean you guys allow people to use the client (which is essentially the Engine correct?) on their own games? But they still need to make their own server code and release the client on GNPL license? Is that what I am gathering from what I read? Just a question,I've already put alot of time into my own engine.

Seems pretty off-topic in this thread, but sure. ^^Ragnar214 wrote:I read that source code page. You are perfectly free to reuse the client code for your own game (though you'd need to make your own resources, of course), but the client is quite incomplete without a server, as the game logic exists purely in the server and the client only does rendering.
As for the actual topic, the resource Jar files had been badly baked. Should be fixed now.

Re: Haven error!
Sorry about that. It was just on my mind at the time so I threw it in there. I was thinking of PMing you instead but just wrote it here instead. Next time I'll post things in the right place.
Where should I post about my questions on the Renderer/Client? Or can I just PM you? The thing is if I don't have to focus on building the rendering engine I can focus on the fun stuff (Server/Gameplay). Can the renderer/client you wrote be used to make a single player game as well?

I'd think that the Wizards' Tower ought to be a good place.Ragnar214 wrote:Where should I post about my questions on the Renderer/Client?
I'm sure you could gut it that way, but I'm not sure if it's an efficient way to go about it. I'd be looking into something like jMonkeyEngine or libgdx if you just want a gamedev library for Java. :)Ragnar214 wrote:Can the renderer/client you wrote be used to make a single player game as well?
