This, I come back from work all day and my XP is destroyed, the trade off should be, I get shitty LP, not 0 XP, this isn't a fun mechanic and is just frustrating. Scale the XP please.Haba wrote:The end result is the opposite. People who don't autocurio are punished even more harshly, as they end up draining their XP with curios that give absolute thrash LP. You HAVE to log on to remove your curios, or you end up with negative XP.
It just baffles my mind, it does. If you scale the LP, then scale the XP cost as well ffs.

If xp would scale same way lp does.
Wear thing would be much better
It wouldnt be good ,but better than what it is now.

to people saying this will have less player interaction....
that may not be the case... I just had a neighbor in our area inquiring about purchasing high q metal curios and abacus etc.... normally people wouldn't care because its a one time use and not worth the effort to trade it... but if he buys a very nice abacus off me it has many uses now.
I think you might find that people might start trading harder to make things.
However we do need more sinks for certain items... like straw... what do we do with that now?

Re: Game Development: Seasons Greetings
Ok, so, regarding the curio change.
The idea on our part was to reduce the amount of management needed for curios, not increase it. We are going to revert that change, quite simply. We might revisit the idea of multiple use curios as such at some point. Sorry about that!

It does have that effect in terms of not being required to log in once in the morning, then again in the afternoon, then later on at night but why can't it just stop studying the item if you don't have enough experience for it?jorb wrote:The idea on our part was to reduce the amount of management needed for curios, not increase it. LP gain appears to be much faster and I don't mind that at all.
