Tried that, but that works as intended, i.e. the calf appears in the bounding box of the cow.

Could be random one-offs in memory management or some other situation that is making this as random as hell that just aren't going to pop up on the dev server.

Is it possible for jorb to run dev server for long periods of time, keeping buggy enclosure active with multiple cows to see if eventually one calf pops outside wall with debug log about it?

This is still happening to me fairly frequently.

I always seem to spot it and the animals are never far from the pens, so I wonder if it happens when the area is loaded?

Happens at birth as well as when an animal grows from a calf/lamb/pigglet to an adult animal.

Jorb: Have you tried it with a tight bounding box, then having the area unloaded when the birth occurs, then loading the area after?

Jorb and loftar should just modify time that it takes for c alfs to born/breed and then repeat it in 2x2 pen with varying amount of cows multiple times and see if it throws it out sometimes.
