two questions.

1.So say i build a palisade and have already sealed it up. if i make a new cornerpost, can i connect the walls to the sealed posts?

2. can you 'spread' terrain? if X and Y terrain are touching, and i stomp out Y, will X overtake that dirt? or will it stop growing at the old terrain line?

If I understand the system even close to correctly, each fish type has its own nodes. Then you have to use the right bait (primitive bush pole) or lure and action combination (other rod).

I was good with the old system. There's too many holes in this one for me to even make a stab at recommendations yet. A few people have started fishing guides, but then nothing has come out of them to complete the guide.

Trees no longer have a spacing requirement when planted. They stunt randomly.

How do you find a well spot and how do you build a well?
Since it either says wrong terrain or not flat enough and does doesing rod has any use of finding a well spot as in the previews game, it had 1x1 puddle apear when you equip it and of course find it.

Only reports I've read of successfully placing a well is just trying every tile until they can put one down. It's supposed to be on some sort of node.

There's a couple of threads on the subject of building wells. You'll have to page through the search list. I can't get the search I used to link right, so try "+build +well" and restrict the search to only the "How Do I?" forum.
