terra forming and water

can we get man made bodies of water, or being able to terraform water bodies, as in, if you dig a hole, the water would follow, orbeing possible to take water in a bucket or a wheelbarrow and dump it in a hole for it to fill with water? a fotress is not fotres without walls surrounded by crocodile infested waters

This game cannot handle fluids like that.

That'd be neat, but fluid logic is complex business.

i always enjoy the minecraft school of water.
we create a 3rd blok of water by surrounding an empty block with 2 blocks of water.
this should be a thing!
